Benin e-Visa

Most international travellers need a Benin e-Visa, obtained online before departure. The process is fully digital: apply, pay and receive your visa by email as a PDF to print and present at immigration.

  • Apply via the official Benin e-Visa portal at evisa.bj
  • Passport valid for at least 6 months beyond your arrival date
  • Proof of yellow fever vaccination is required at application and at the border
  • Print your approved e-Visa PDF and carry it with you on arrival
  • Apply early, allowing several business days for processing
Please verify: Visa rules vary by nationality and can change. Always confirm current requirements on the official portal (evisa.bj) or with your nearest Benin embassy before booking travel. This page is a guide, not official immigration advice.
